What To Watch This Week

First off, this is the week that brings us American Horror Story, from Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee and Nip/Tuck. The first five minutes has been online and sets the tone for what is sure to be the scariest series currently on Television. October is a great month to premiere such a show, as The Walking Dead has proved.

If you haven’t checked out 2 Broke Girls yet, you’re just being silly. At least watch an episode. I’m not the only one trumpeting this show as one of the best new shows. Also, if you care, House returns for what might be its last season premiere.

Glee‘s ‘Asian F’ episode has been getting great critical marks, and could be the right injection of awesome that this series needs. Also Onion News Network launches its second season at 10PM on IFC. Not to mention that Tuesdays is also the night for Sons Of Anarchy, which is the best show on TV. Hands down.

Aside from American Horror Story, tonight brings us a new episode of South Park, as well as the second episode of Suburgatory (which you also need to be watching). I also won’t be missing Modern Family or Happy Endings, and it might be interesting to see what happens on X-Factor once the auditions are over.

My normal Thursday night looks like Community and Grey’s Anatomy, but tonight Seth Rogen guest stars on the season opener of The League on FX. Sadly, Archer’s incredibly short season ended last week. Also, catch up later with The Secret Circle, or The X-Factor.

I usually use Friday’s to do things other than watch TV, but Sanctuary has its fourth season opener today.

For those of you who actually care, Rules of Engagement opens its SIXTH season today. On a SATURDAY. That’s how much CBS hates this show. Also, Ben Stiller hosts Saturday Night Live.

Family Guy, Pan Am, and if you have Showtime, check out Homeland. I wonder if it can keep up the awesome tension in the first episode.
